Starting Over

We moved from Northern California to Texas September 17, 2021, on my wonderful and supportive wife’s birthday.  Late December saw the construction of my new train room which was constructed to fit my CAD designed layout plan.  Its interior is 44′ x 25′.  Foam insulation was added along with HVAC in February.

While waiting for the room to be sheetrocked, I printed out the plans full size and then constructed switches in sets of 2 to 4 where possible.  I completed all 146 switches needed except for 2 of the 4 3-way switches using Fast Tracks.  I had not bought jigs for the 3-ways, so built them on paper templates.

I am very grateful to my daughter, Holly Ray, for constructing the templates for this website when she visited our new home in October.  It is great to have a web site designer in the family.  Bear with me as I attempt to add more content.
